WHAT IS AUTISM?

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is characterized as a developmental difference that can cause social, communication and behavioral challenges. There is often nothing about how people with ASD look that sets them apart from other people, but people with ASD may communicate, interact, behave, and learn in ways that are different from most other people. The learning, thinking, and problem-solving abilities of people with ASD can range broadly.

Our grants go directly to Special Educators so they can purchase supplies that serve their autistic students.

By allowing educators to allocate funds to their specific needs, we empower them to cater to the specific needs of their students.

We are always seeking Teachers, SLP’s, SPED, Counselors, and others that provide education to autistic students in the Kansas City area! We are available to any district and any grade.
